About Lucy

Hello, I'm Lucy

Paediatric physiotherapist, and the person behind Little Movers.

LJ

Lucy Jolliffe, Paediatric Physiotherapist

I set up Little Movers because I have seen, again and again, how much difference the right support at the right time makes to a child, and how hard it can be for families to find that support when they need it. Whether it's a baby with a strong head preference, a toddler who isn't walking yet, or a young person finding their feet again after surgery, my job is to understand why and to help, gently and effectively.

My background is in NHS paediatric physiotherapy, specialising in neurological conditions with children and young people aged 0 to 19. That has included working in special schools, running clinics, and paediatric musculoskeletal work alongside it. I'm used to working closely with teachers, SENCOs and NHS colleagues, and I bring that joined-up way of working to every family I see.

Outside the NHS, I also work with private specialists. If your child is already under a private consultant or another private therapist, I'm happy to work alongside them and keep everyone in the loop, with your permission.

How I work

Sessions built around play

Assessment and treatment happen through play, not a clinical routine, so children stay relaxed and engaged.

Honest answers, plain English

No jargon, and no exaggerating what physiotherapy can do. If I think someone else is a better fit, I'll say so.

Goals that matter to your family

A plan built around what you have noticed and what would make the biggest difference day to day.

You're always in the room

A parent stays in every session, part of the therapy, and always knows what we did and why.
